Good luck!

No longer. AVI's RV Park is now a KOA and is typically KOA expensive.

Today, when you go to AVI's website, they don't even list an RV Park. Have to find it as a KOA unit.

Our favorite Laughlin RV park is the Avi.....it has a KOA park right next to the casino/hotel and staying there you can use all the amenities of the hotel....beautful pool area, buffetts, restaurants, movies, nice sandy beach on river....little store there sells fireworks they let you set off in a field there.....about 10 miles south of Laughlin.

I just checked the prices at the Avi KOA and they're still a few dollars less than the Riverside, however, the prices are higher than when the park wasn't operated by KOA.

The KOA RV park at the Avi casino is the same as it has always been except that the AVI bought a KOA fronchise. Still operated like it always has been. A lady named Linda has worked there for about as long as it has been there. I never could get an answer as to why the casino wanted to own an KOA park.Thats where we stay when we are in the area.

The last time we stayed at Riverside (October) we paid a rate of $99 for the week. That is the usual discounted rate for club members. We stayed on the top, drove the toad around town (including AVI), and were happy we chose Riverside. If you go there you must ask for a cable TV "male" hook-up, as it seems the cable was hooked up "wrong" and the owners would rather give out the adaptors than fix it.

the Riverside has a deal going right now. Tell them you want the RV Journal $99 a week special, includes 2 breakfast buffets, not valid for Sunday brunch.

We love the Riverside park. The AVI is nice, but it is a long drive from Laughlin itself.

Thanks for the info everyone...We are not gamblers but the inlaws are and they are always wanting us to meet them up there. They always have rooms comped at Harrahs. But we are not too fond of Casino Hotels and would much rather have our own Home away from Home.
