We all know hotdogs and sausage over a fire is fantastic. But we tried something the spring that we love, but one says is so very wrong. Take one of your choice and wrap it in bacon then hold on with wet tooth picks(wet so wont burn). Put over fire till done to your liking.Carefull not to cook too close as bacon might burn before other is ready. Use bun to take off stick by running stick into bun and pull off. Have fun.

Don't forget to remove the toothpicks!

Sounds good, adding this to the summer menu.

With all the sodium, that would just about be my only meal of the day. But, it sure would be delicious.

My mom used to make Hawaiian hot dogs. She took a hot dog and cut a slit down it lengthwise and filled it with pineapple tidbits. Then wrapped the whole thing with bacon and grilled on the campfire. Everyone loved them.

Hey, thanks! That sounds great. I'll have to try that myself one day and with the tidbits of pineapple as well.

That sounds good...it would be real good with some nice deli dogs. And with a good relish it would be SOOOOO DELICIOUS!
