I wonder if the Manufacturer will pay te cost for a trip to the factory for warranty work. That is if they come with a warranty.

1. They can make all the RV's they want, for their people. Can't see any profit in export to this country.
2. They will pay as much for gas, or more, than we do.

3. They have no established countrywide network of RV campgrounds.

4. They have no interstate system in which to drive their new RV's around their country.

5. They are stupid if they don't take a hard look at how many used RV's are for sale in this country.

6. Oil will only become more expensive as more countries have more or just as much demand as us.

1. You are right, it will be for their own market, logistics to USA to expensive, our US market is not exactly on fire either.
2. The do pay a bit more for gas than us.
3. They have very few campgrounds, but they are building them, just as they have added plenty nice resorts in last 5 years.
4. The DO HAVE a very good interstate system! Brand new! and still growing every day.
5. Agree, RV market in USA to slow now. Importing a motor vehicle for commercial reselling is way to hard also. Importing an assembled RV, freight costs will be costly.
6. The oil demand will go up with or without RV's.

Don't ever think the Chinese build only junk! Think again! That is why companies like our's can sell quality products in China, they want quality as much as everyone else! They are learning quick, the have TV and Internet and know what we are doing in USA. So, we live in a great country if everyone else is trying to do the things we do!

Up here in the great white north, I always laugh when I see a 'don't buy foreign' bumper sticker on a ford truck (made in the usa) but never on a toyota RAV4 (made here in canada)

Heck, every car company up here is 'foreign'

If we didn't buy foreign, we couldn't sell American. The way global economy works.

Here is a http://www.china.org.cn/travel/qingdao/2012-03/21/content_24968198.htm to a website with a picture. Seems like an Iveco or similar chassis, so it could a a 4 cylinder diesel. Trying to get more pictures, just so we can see what they have come up with.
