The outside rubber window seal do not join together on my rear window and front over the cab window. Is this suppose to be like this or have they shrunk do to hot and cold weather? These seals 'pop' into place and the corners on the front window are in the correct places, pulled apart on the back window. Thanks for any help.

I think you will find that the rubber seal is mostly to hold the glass in the frame. If you take it out you should see a layer of silicone between the glass and the frame that keeps the water out.

They wear out. You can replace them.

They shrink and pull out of the corners as they age. I move mine so that the void is at the top of the window rather than the bottoma. You can buy replacement and replace totally or just fill in the "empty" spot.

I've got a similar problem with the seal material but my back windows on my Carriage Cameo faces the sun and the vinyl has shrunk quite a bit from the corners - I reset the vinyl last year and put some silicone over the entire bottom seal - I need to replace the seal materail but Carriage is out of business and don't know where to get this seal material - I've been on-line but nothing seems to match and haven't got any repsonse from the Carriage forum board.
Can anyone give me some idea where I can purchase this stuff - I need about 35 ft. Its shape has a flange that fits on the outside of the window frame and a small rib that fits into the channel and then 2 small separated ribs that extend up from the rib - probably not the best description - sorry
thanks

I have a similar problem. My 1990 class A Rockwood Regent has sliding windows and is sealed on the outside with a piece of flexible rubber or vinly seal that has a sectional view that is convex on the top and and square underneath with 3 saw tooth grippers on each side and open in the middle. Can't seem to find a similar one online anywhere. Approximately 3/8" wide and tall. Any idea's where to look would be appreciated.

Hi,
I was able to find the exact "rim material" @ Camping World for a very reasonable price. That was the easy part - putting it in was a ***** as I used some sealant and had to pull most of it out of the track.
Some of the corners still won't lay down into the track and one of my friends suggested using a hair dryer to heat it up just a little.
Good luck
AF
