Family station wagon that also served as parents mom'n pop grocery/butcher shop
'truck' along with it being our family 'car' for Sunday outings
Pink Ford Station wagon...1956 with a BIG engine...313 with a 4 barrel (mom stops
on freeway entry ramps to 'look'...dad always bought the biggest V8 he could so

55MPH back then...I used to run across the freeway delivering groceries
to their customers...try that today
Drove that for years...try getting girls to go out with you when the
competition were driving Mustangs, Cameros, GTOs, etc
First car I bought was a VERY used 66 MGB

I found my '73 Vega. Mine was a red hatchback, just like in the brochure. I did paint a black racing stripe on the hood of mine, though. 76,000 miles on the odo when I got it.
When we traded it in at 126K, the engine was using a quart of oil every 100 miles, and was fouling one spark plug every 300 miles. Got $100 in trade toward a new '78 Mazda GLC. A couple months later I drove past that Mazda dealership in Bay City MI and saw a sign out front proclaiming a great deal on a '73 Vega, like new, only 26K miles, for $1995.

1965 Mustang 289 Convertible. Dark Ivy Green with a White Roof. Came stock with a black top but when I restored it I went with the white, besides the top everything was original and all numbers matched. I had it for almost 18 years and man I REALLY wish that I had never sold it!!!!
