My folks had a 1968 Oldsmobile Tornado......highway cruiser, rolling speedometer, HUGE back & front seats and would smoke the front tires at the drop of a hat.
Mom can a borrow the car.......oh yeah Wish I had one.
Also my 1976 F250 Camper Special. Good truck....really good truck!

I've only owned 5 vehicles and none of them were classics. I guess I'd pick my 1986 Renault Alliance. It was the first vehicle I bought and I drove it for 10 years which is longer than we've kept any other vehicles.
Some of the unique things about that car were:
- a dipstick on the dash so you could check the oil level by keeping the key in the run position for a few seconds before moving to start
- the factory radio that had AM stereo
- the front seats rocked back and forth if you held up the bar used to adjust them
- the windshield washer would send 2 steam of fluid over the car and onto the car behind me if I used them when the car stopped at a traffic light
On the negative side, I took a corner very fast in my youthful exuberance and the driver's side transaxle came apart. By the time I sold it, the key for the doors had broken off in the driver's side lock so I didn't even lock the doors anymore.

I've got 3 of them I would dream of having again:
1. My dad's '62 Nova SS Convertible
2. My '68 Mustang Convertible
3. My 2003 Honda S2000

I am not that old, and have not owned too many cars yet, but I wish I could have my Subaru Impreza back. Our small business has been struggling and DW's income irregular, so I sold it to get rid of a payment, and bought a 10yr old focus to commute in. I LOVED the Subaru. It was just the non-turbo with 5spd manual, but it was spirited enough, and what I loved the most was the AWD. It just stayed planted and was almost impossible to upset in any weather. Just point and push the go pedal, no drama. While the focus is not a bad car, it reminds me why I do not like fwd.

Was that the one that looked like a small Jag E Type ?
Pretty much. Hardtop (fastback); white with black vinyl interior. No A/C or power anything but ultracool. Definitely not a muscle car (had a couple of those too - 67 Mustang w/ 390 V-8 and a 66 GTO.

'67 Mustang Fastback - 390 FE....very nice....the Bullit car !
'66 GTO...also very nice....I preferred the look of the 64-66 GTO to the later '60's GTO look.
