thanks to all those who have given me first hand reviews and info on state parks. It makes such a difference to chat about sites, distance to water, sightseeing from the park and tons more. this truly helps me in deciding where to camp.

I love this parks section and I also love reading about parks far from me but will someday hope to stay!

Amen...the closest thing to going somewhere is reading/seeing where someone els has.

it's like a virtual trip.

...and thank YOU for thanking US!! Many times when we give folks ideas they never acknowledge the help they've received. We love this forum, too. Safe travels.

This is my favorite part of the forum. I've found great ideas for places that turned out to be highlights of our trips. I keep a running list on my iPad when I read suggestions so I can reference later.

Thanks to all who post!

My favorite section as well. I like to check what others are doing, get ideas, and I enjoy when I can comment on a question and hopefully help someone enjoy their trip a bit more! (kinds makes you stop and re-enjoy a past trip, which is always a good thing)So many folks have been so very helpful to me, and it is much better to hear from one of us and get a real first hand account of what to expect from just about anywhere, or so it seems!
