I have read several posts regarding back up cameras. To those of you who are also researching such purchase what looks good now? I would be nice to have one that works going forward not only in reverse.
Thank you, Bill

My back up camera is on all the time I am driving, forward or backward. Most backup cameras get there power from the "Back up Lights" so when you select Reverse it comes on. So if you want it on while driving forward, just wire it to a power supply that is ignition switch controlled, then you will have it on anytime you are driving. I use it as much as I use my mirrors.

recvd my camera today, looks like good quality, did anyone make a gasket for camera base??also thought i read somewhere abt using a tape instead of screwing it down??any ideas on this, hate to drill more holes in body.thanks
My backup camera is selectable, either always on or reverse activated. My old 5" CRT monitor is starting to show signs of fading though, so I'm considering a 7" color LCD system from Rear View Safety that has a similar selection feature.
