Interesting seller. i went to his store and he actually does just about any cluster. This would be useful over in Tow vehicles as well.

Found Silverado Clusters remain for $50 shipped. but the picture was from a gasser. Sent a question about the diesel version. Since used Silverado clusters can run $200 and are known for failed steppers.

Will post back about the answer on diesel clusters.

here is a clicky to the store page.

I wonder what he does about mileage?
Sounds like a good deal tho.

I think that mileage is stored in one of the vehicle computers which provides the data to the display, at least that is how it worked in our Saturn.

You can buy the stepper motors on Ebay for a few bucks and repair yourself. A few people have posted the repair procedure on the internet. I found it when I was having a problem with the tach on a 2005 Sierra. Hardest part is removing the cluster from the dash!

Fron what I was told they take your dash and repair it. They have to because they have to keep the same milage. In my case I could not read the display and they most likely will just replace the display. The workhorse dealer near me wanted $495.00 to send it out and have it repaired. Again just an FYI and I am waitting to get it back and install it.

How far away do they service it? Or do you send it to them?

If you click on the "clicky", and read the listing, you'll find:
"Q. How does the Repair Service work?
With a Repair Service order, you send your unit to us. We fix it and send the same one back to you. Shipping both ways is included in the domestic shipping rates, so we will send you a prepaid shipping label by email after you make your payment by Paypal or by calling with your credit card details."
