I need to buy a base plate for my '10 Jeep Liberty. Does anyone have a recommendation of where the best deals can be found?

Contact Blue Ox direct and see if they have a Rally special price. Then see what the cost of delivery is. At the Rally, they had some good specials on. Macktee

I've twice purchased from rvstuffusa. Once was a Demco baseplate for a 2001 Focus. Another was a Demco baseplate for a 2009 Focus, and a Commander tow bar. Good prices. Quick order processing.

I chose Demco because of their sturdiness and simplicity.

$344.38 for your Jeep, free shipping.

I had a baseplate fabricated by a local trailer hitch installer that makes their own parts, called Tork Weld. Maybe you can shop around your area for a similar firm.

If you can't find such a firm, contact Tork Weld in Kent, Wa and get a quote.

I consistently find Amazon to have the best prices for RV accessories.

http://www.towbarsunlimited.com it's where I got everything but tow bar as I towed a Dakota before Jeep and used plow frame for base plate.

I'd also go with Demco. They are a company that is very close to where I live, and in addition to being a well-built product, they are a well-built company. Very involved in the region and great people that run it & work there. FULL DISCLOSURE- I do not work at Demco, nor does anyone in my family

It kind of helps to know what tow bar you are planning on using. Also, do you want the baseplate to be the same brand as the tow bar or are you OK with Brand-X tow bar and Brand-Y baseplate? You can mix and match them.

Thanks for the suggestions. I already have a Blue Ox tow bar that I use with a Wrangler.
