Anybody own one of these. My Dad found one for half price at a dealer that's going out of business. Him and his DW love it but he's a little hesitant. I'm posting this for him to see if I can get some feedback from current owners.

I have a 2008, Jayco Eagle, 30.5 RLS FW. We bought new and have not had any issues. We have towed the trailer @ 21,000 miles to date. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I "think" he might have gone to pick it up today. All I know is the dealer has it listed at a MSRP of $48k.....he's getting it for $22k. Brand new too. Crazy.

I have the 313RKS and love it. Had the choice of any floor plan due to our old rear kitchen model being totaled and did not like any other layout. the large campsite picture window sells it for us every time. We can still see what is going on outside if we want to take a break from the elements. The only downfall is I have to make my son's bed every night until he is old enough to do it.

If this is the Jayco Eagle 29.5 RKS 5th wheel...have him run, not walk to the dealer and grab it!
I've had 7 new Jayco's...and my DW and I love that model floorplan!
On RVTrader they run new sale priced $31,095.00 all the way up to full msrp $46,935.00!
If he could get one from a distressed dealer for half off the MSRP...lets say $32k to $36K it would be an extremely good deal!
Icing on the cake would be if it had the optional upgraded 15,500 roof A/C, Mor/Ryde hitch and the thermal pane windows. Not a deal breaker..but it would be nice!
It would run a bit over 11,000 lbs ready to camp with all the camp'n gear...so a substantial truck is needed.
With R-22 roof insulation, and all the stuff Jayco has as standard, plus the craftsmanship, quality and 2 year warranty! What-a-Deal!
Tell him good luck!

It's confirmed. He signed the papers yesterday. He's a proud new owner of a 29.5RKS. He's really excited about it; I don't blame him. His only issue now is that the dealer wasn't taking trades so now he's got a Jay Flight 29BHS G2 sitting in his driveway that he needs to get rid of. If anyone's interested, I think he's willing to let it go for a heck of a deal. I'll probably try to post something on the classifieds for him.

That is one heck of a deal. Usually, from what I hear on here, 30% off is about standard so 54% off has to be great. Congratulations on a good deal. I had a small Jayco for 18 years and just upgraded, I hope, to a little bit large one. Hope you like yours.
