I have a 2012 Cougar 327RES and love it. We had a couple minor problems that the dealer handled under warranty with no hassle. We bought it because of the floor plan. We had looked at a lot of different brands and kept coming back to the Cougar. Nothing compares in floor plans.

ya Brad. My biggest concern right now is the 110 Gallons of Diesel we will need to pay for going back to Ohio from Florida.World peace will have to wait a week or two. My solution to the RV issue is to buy a new one every few years. That solves the problem for awhile.

Mine started to look bad last winter and I attribute it in part to this hot Florida sun beating on them as they are worse on the sun side. Improper main is another cause. Then tere is just plain low cost material.
So since it happens on more than one brand of RV it is acceptable? I guess we now know why the RV manufacturers use improper or cheap materials. It is amazing to me what RV owners will put up with after paying $50,000 plus for the privilege. The manufacturers now say: "We are no worse than the others" They must have that corporate objective posted all over the plant.
We used to experience similar quality problems with US made automobiles until the Japanese manufacturers showed American manufacturers how to build quality automobiles. For some strange reason American Manufacturers started having trouble selling their automobiles until they cleaned up their act.
Nobody said it was acceptable. He said it it widespread, there is a difference!
And the difference is?? And your point is??

Point is it is widespread, and not just Keystone, which your crusade points to. Many brands, and manufacturers , not just a Keystone product. As I have pointed out it is disappointing to see the graphics peel off , but they did make it right. One thing to note , you can't get replacement graphics from Burlington anymore. You get them directly from Keystone.

My camper is 8 years old. Yup, the front decal is starting to peel from facing the Arizona sun for that long. If that's the worst problem I have, then I guess I'll prolly die happy.
But if you need something to complain about, then you can complain about my shabby looking graphic decal.

We had a Cougar for a few years. For the money, it was an excellent camper. Just kinda "grew out of it", but not a single problem that I can remember.
Good value!
