Hi,
I'm remodeling my 1989 fleetwood flair class A. I'm new at this and I'm thinking of ripping up carpet. I was wondering if I use vinyl flooring what kind do I buy and where? Thanks

How about self-stick squares available at any home store and/or tile store. Easy to put down and if one gets damaged easy to replace if you keep a few spares.

If you are remodeling, and have a little carpenter in you, how about putting down an expensive hardwood laminent flooring. They really look great and bring your older coach into the 21 century. The laminent can be put down over a thin foam pad that will also give you more protection from road noise. But by all means, pull out the old carpet. You will be glad you did.

We tore out the carpet & put in Armstrong sheet vinyl. We left the carpet on the slides. The vinyl is definitely an improvement.

We pull up our carpet and replaced it with a Armstrong vinyl. Was happy the first year. After two winters the vinyl is compet up and carpet back down. Will be replacing with a high end burber, not the low end that the manufactures put. Our dogs even hatem the vinyl.

Same here. We don't like the carpet through out, especially up by the door where it gets worn out and dirty. I'd make by the door, kitchen and table either vinyl or fake wood, and the rest carpet.

berber carpet is continuous filament. that means when you get a snag, it will ravel. not the best material for the doghouse as the backing will show on outside edges

How about some before, during and after photos? I have the same unit and am interested in how it goes.
