Does this GPS show the elevation? Does it have a connection for a remote antenna?

I currently have a Lowrance iWay 600c which I love but can no longer get updated maps (my maps are first quarter of '06). Very aggravating to throw away a $800 unit because the company no longer provides updates.

Thanks

I have the 5510 and it does show elevation on a different screen (toggle back and forth). What is the remote antenna for?

I feel your pain re the Lowrance unit. I had a 250c and found it to be better than anything else on the market as far as info supplied and the ease of makung route adjustments. It's too bad they didn't have better marketing and keep their auto unit division going.

I currently have the Garming 465T and have found it usable but no where near the capabilities of the ole Lowrance!

Yes and yes to answer your questions. I have one and really like it over my old Garmin.
