Hello all, Great site. I have a Fleetwood Revolution 2003
My brake lights quit working,I have pulled every fuse I can find.
Any other XC chassis folks know other places to look. I looked under driver side,Battery compartment,Switched around Relays.I'm lost.
I was thinking about the Diodes under the dash-The Towing Brake controller is spliced into one of these,Problem.
Thanks,Mike

Have you used a jumper wire to bypass the brake light switch right by the brake pedal?

one of the wires going to the brake control should come from the brake light switch, so could be bad splice or connection

Anytime I have problems with anything electrical I check the ground first.

Signal and four ways working OK? Do they utilize the same bulb? Brake pedal switch needs checked and you'll probably find that it's in the ground return, so if your meter doesn't read a positive voltage, try using a jumper to find a good ground.

Hello, I believe I found the problem,I bought an Electrical Tracer-needed one for work--Hooked it up to the brake wires at the air switch and went hunting.
I found the Hot wire at the junction block had broken inside the insulation. Thats why all the fuses were good-Crazy.
When I find a minute I will splice them back together and hope thats it. Will report back.
I've learned alot on this site to keep our RV going.
Thanks,Mike

I forgot, that I read alot on here about folks following wires and thought this Tracer should maybe be in every RVs tool box.
I would never have found that broken wire without it.

First thing that I do whenever it comes to the lights is to first check the bulbs themselves. It could probably be that the bulb is already worn out. Then I'd check with the electrical.
