What is the best RV Road Atlas?
I see Amazon has a couple different versions.
My first concern is bridge heights.
Another plus would be Wal-Marts or inclusion of RV friendly businesses.

Thanks!

My concern also was bridge height so I purchased a trucker's atlas at Flying J. Gives all the information I needed for height as my Mobile Suites measures 13'3".

I was thinking this one, but it appears a bit pricey:

Although I do like the laminated pages and spiral binding.

I prefer an atlas like Michelin http://www.amazon.com/Michelin-North-American-Road-Atlas/dp/2067150200
It's not divided by states but rather a huge map of the country cut up into pages. As you drive along you just flip to the next page. It's all at the same scale.

We haven't found bridge heights to be a problem unless your planning on going on the back roads thru the mountains. Our fifth wheel measures right at 12'6". We have traveled all over United States and Canada and the few bridges we did encounter, at the most three, that were less than 13 ft had warning signs well in advance. But, that being said, it is prudent to be aware of whats coming up and a reliable guide is worth while.

There are many bridges in New Jersey with 10' limits. These are are on secondary roads but you still need to be aware of low bridges. Know your height limits and get a good truckers book to know your route. I had to reroute a trip several years back when traveling to Nigra Falls. Better safe then sorry.

Trailer Life RV Road Atlas highlights trucker routes, as well as has campgrounds indicated. They went to the spiral binding a couple of years ago, which has made it much more durable.

I think we found that bridge going to Niagra Falls last summer. Nice 20 mile backtrack.

We also like the RM truckers, laminated, large print. You can pick up last years at a big discount. We actually still have our first one with all our notes but buy a current edition each year because our RM GPS shows the page number of the atlas right on the screen. Nice frill.
