Well guys...I wound up purchasing an 08' Keystone Sprinter 250RBS. It's in amazing condition. Has a flat screen TV installed mounted in a spin around entertainment center, with DVD player integrated. Power awning, power hitch jack, and comes with a new EZ-lift hitch system. Someone really took care of this unit and it still smells new. Has a 36" deep super slide with tons of room. My wife and I both love it and I believe we're taking it in 2 weeks on our first travel trailer camping trip.
It's also equipped with a septic flush system (which I found really neat). Got it at an awesome price. Will post pics after I go pick it up next week!
Just make sure whatever you buy is well within your TV's capacities. Do not go by the dry weight or the posted tongue weight, this will get you into trouble every time. The safest route is to use the GVWR of the TT. Make sure the GVWR is within your towing capacity, figure 13-15% of the GVWR for tongue weight of the TT, and then apply the tongue weight to your payload. FOr payload, you can get an actual available payload on your TV one of 2 ways. 1st, look at the sticker on your TV's driverside door and see what it says for payload. From that you can subtract anything or anyone that will be in that vehicle when towing (this includes fuel too). Know that tongue weight will be subtracted from your payload as well. The 2nd and easier way.... load your TV up as you would for camping w/ people and gear. Get a full tank of gas and go hit a local truck scale or cat scale. Get your truck weighed and subtract that weight from the trucks GVWR. That # is your true available payload. Looking up specs on-line it looks like an 08 tundra w/ 5.7 has a max tow capacity of 8100 lbs w/ tow package, 6600 lbs w/o tow package, so a dual slide TT will probably be too heavy for your TV.
My Tundra with the tow package is rated to tow 10,100lbs according to the manual and the dealer. So I think with a good hitch setup I should be fine.
I had a 2007 toyota tundra 4x4 5.7v8 double cab with tow package and my tow rating was 10,300. Know my 2012 tundra 4x4 5.7v8 double cab with tow package is 9700lbs. you should be fine.
