Just a personal observation since I have not seen this hitch in person.
From the pictures, the appearance of the welding seems a little rough especially for a demo unit. I would have a certified welder look it over before purchase.

agreed, i am a certified high pressure pipe welder. The welds do look extremely rough the whole construction of the unit definatly isnt as "seamless" as other companies either. Very lack luster fit and finish. In my opinion when it comes to strength, nothing beats a 4 leg type setup, that way the weight is better distributed. On this one EVEN with the supporting 2" tubing frame underneath a vast majority of the weight will be focused on those two center pieces of tubing ON center. I dont think i would purchae one of these units.
