Hello All,
nOObie here..  I just joined the forum and we bought our first new (to us) C-class.
It's a 99 ford e450 cab. One of the previous owners removed the doghouse/engine cover and put on this sheepskin thing that looks and smells funny so it needs to go. I'm having some trouble finding the engine cover online - there is one listing on ebay that might be what I need. Not sure... If someone can take a peek and let me know if that is the whole assembly that would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the other listings seem to be for a just a console that clips on the front somehow.
Anyway, thanks for all the great info on this forum. I have learned so much already.

Call your local wrecking yard. If they don't have it, they can do a network search for one for you for free.

Give them a call I have found that all Ebay sellers are more than happy to give detailed information on their wares so you get the right part and are satisfied and it cuts down on returns and makes happy customers.

Go to any junk yard --- they haven't changed the doghouse in decades.
There is a big difference between the gasoline and diesel one (more insulation) but otherwise, it should be a drop in fit.
Have your old one with you to eyeball.
Look for good color, features (bins etc.) and have fun.

Might be a difference between the V-8 and the V-10 doghouses.
