Hmmmm! This is classified as an "inflator", and not an air compressor. Note, on B & D's own website it received only 2 stars out of 5 in the "Ratings and Reviews". Read the reviews to see why. Just sayin'...

Based on recommendations from a few others I bought this one yesterday. I used it today and it really works well. It's light and stows easily in one of my smaller rear compartments.

I guess I misunderstood- I know it is an inflator. We use it to inflator the RV tires. It works well for us and takes up little space. A few friends have it and recommended the unit to us and it was given to us as a gift. I have used it both ways- electric and from the battery. I haven't had it that long and have used it about 5 or 6 times without a problem. If it fails- I will look into something else.
Hey RVers.
Thanks so much for all of the feedback. After evaluating my individual needs I ordered from
Amazon, a DeWalt D55140-1-Gallon, 135 PSI air compressor. Just got back from the storage lot where I was able to try it out. It seems to be a winner as it inflated the tires without any problems while running off of the generator power. Thanks for all of the info...
