I do not have one but the sprinterstore.com sells one and has real world info on their site. They probably have the most knowledge of Sprinters as they sell the most aftermarket parts, host the Sprinter get togethers and offer Factory 4WD installations using only OEM MB parts.
All of the accessories that I have purchased from them are top quality, not cheap, but probably get what you pay for.

O.K., has anyone had real world experience with this unit?
Even $700 would be a bargain if the MPG is increased by 15%
If you travel 20,000 miles per year (approx. 1,000 gallons @ $4.15 per gallon) then the savings would be about $541.00 per year. That's a 77% R.O.I. !

The only serious problem I had with my I5 sprinter was the shorting out the ECU circuit so others may want to take a chance with the ECU but not me!

Do you have actual experience or is your reply just a generic thought on such wild claims?
Wow, I cannot believe I am even replying to this, but I am. It seems folks will always long after the latest thing that makes wondrous claims of x increased horsepower, e increased gas mileage, x efficient do da, build muscles without work, “The oil companies don’t want you to know this but” and of course let us not forget the ever popular Nigerian Finance Minister.
One of the odd things I have witnessed is as you increase the price for one of these wonder do-das, the wild claims seem to gain a cult following. I guess that is because of the well, it ain’t cheap, so it must be a serious thing.
Do I have real life experience with this particular latest and greatest, no. Then again I do not have real life experience with a perpetual motion machine the US government is trying to hide, nor “Secrets the Insurance Companies don’t want you to know”, Marvel Mystery Oil nor have I met the Nigerian Finance Minister and his poor put upon nephew in exile.
If you wish to waste your money on this device or its $700 upgraded version please by all means feel free, after all someone has to keep these charlatans in business.
If they actually performed as stated, the manufacturer would install it and capture the market share of those who did not. I know, know, the US government won’t let them.

I looked at the Sprinterstore website. They say the module will result in a modest increase of fuel economy @2-3 mpg. Advantage for a module is for heavily loaded vehicles, shift points etc. The actual price is $799.00,ouch.

The government and big oil were keeping fuel efficient carburetors from us for years. What happened?
