I was reading another post about water damamge and this poster claimed that he had already filed two claims and was still only paying 135 a year.

I believe you are talking about my post on the other thread. First, I made a mistake when I said I have filed 2 claims on the trailer. The first claim was an accident with the trailer(damaged the trailer), hit another parked trailer with my trailer but was claimed under the truck policy(still State Fram, different policy). Sorry about the confusion. I will check my policy for the trailer when I get home and post up what it covers, I also have homeowners, life, and car insurance through State Farm, not sure if the effects my rates.

I pay 148 dollars a year for my 1993 20 foot TT with State Farm. I have a 500 dollar deductible. I've got all my insurance through them and have had the same State Farm insurance man for close to 30 years.

I've had progressive since we bought the MH in 2007, full replacement coverage. Had one claim due to storm damage and they never raised our rates. I pay $323/yr

$183/year full replacement value. This is affected by also having truck and 2 cars with full coverage and the homeowners insurance also with the same company. Citizens, part of Hanford Insurance. When the trailer is parked during the winter we save $9/month without comp. on it.

Erie Insurance...we pay around $200 for full coverage for the entire year (IIRC it's around $180 or so actually, but I high-balled it to be safe).

In any event, back in 2004 our Dutchmen travel trailer burnt up in a fire caused by the defective refrigerator. Erie stood by us 100%, and gave us a more than fair settlement.
