Jolly Roger in Marathon is the only one I have any experience with. Go waterside, else the sites are a wee bit tight.

There are three state parks in the middle keys that have campgrounds depending on your utility requirements. Long Key SP, Curry Hammock SP, and Bahia Honda SP. All offer W&E only and they will not be like Bluewater if that is important to you. Reservations are required for those parks as they are very busy and reasonably priced.

We spent a couple of nights at the Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge this past February. We really enjoyed the place and thought the prices were quite reasonable concidering we were in the Keys in the middle of their peak season. Including tax, only paid about $64 dollars per night. We didn't have any reservations but only lucked out because someone had to leave that morning due to an emergency back home. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended!

We were just down to the Sugarloaf KOA a couple of weeks ago. It was a good weeks stay, hot too far north of Key West. A bit crowded, but so are many of the campgrounds in the Keys. The KOA has a café, pub with live music on some nights, a nice beach and a good boat dock area. It was full the week we were so reservations were needed. Probably better now that many of the snowbirds have headed back north to their summer residences. Geiger Key Marina and campground looks to be a fun place to spend a few days as well. Never stayed there but drove to it and walked around while we were down that way this trip.

Knights Key RV park on Marathon. Water views, walk to bars, restaurants, at the start of the Seven Mile Bridge. We don't even go to KW anymore.

Blue Water Key is the best I have seen down there! Well worth the expense.

This is also one of our favorite places.... however, no dogs allowed due to the key deer that roam the park incaqse you are traveling with pets. It's at about MM31 or so.
