I think these would look neat on some of the older smaller TC's that folks out there are restoring:

Jeep revives Forward Control, Gladiator pickups.

2005 Dodge 3500 SRW, Qcab long bed, NV-6500, diesel, 4WD, Helwig, 9000XL,
Nitto 285/70/17 Terra Grapplers, Honda eu3000Is, custom overload spring perch spacers.
2008 NorthStar Arrow short bed.

Jeep has had many very cool concept vehicles that never have seen the light of day as actual production vehicles, even modified.

The Gladiator first was shown as a concept in 2005, it was supposed to drop this year, is now on hold again

It's a shame, it might be a cool thing (not really for a TC, but as a utility vehicle)

That forward control looks dangerous, talk about a strange center of gravity. One sharp turn and it looks like you will be sliding on your side.

I think you have a point, though its hard to figure how the TC's would ride on the Forward Control, for instance. But there is no doubt that a C-10 Avion would look good as a rig. Maybe next year Jeep will consider taking an Avion and making it part of their concept cars in Moab.

I like the FC and the Gladiator pics. Very nice renditions of the originals.

If a truck camper were put on that FC, the front axle would carry most of the weight, unless it was a very long camper that hung far out the back.

I've owned forward control vehicles before and the centre of gravity isn't as affected as you expect (though the height of the suspension on this example would give you problems if you attempted to load anything top heavy in that load bed). The engine and transmission are still in the conventional place - it is just the sheet metal cab that is moved forward of the engine bay. Gives a very good load bed for an exceptionally short wheel-base for good offroad ability. Land Rover produced a number of variants of this design.

That FC jeep looks more like something the Russians would use in Siberia.

The jeep pickup concept is interesting. Land Rover had a fair degree of success with their version of that (1 ton capacity pickup), but large numbers of Land Rovers historically sold were in fact small pickups with a two-man cab and a small load bed behind - much loved by hill farmers - usually come fitted with a sheep dog with its head permanently out the passenger's window and an aluminum canopy, possibly with a sick sheep inside.

The blue one looks a little to top heavy to have a large camper on it. The red one looks like it has a Dana 44 front axle, so not going to hold much weight on that one.

Somehow tall and heavy campers don't really mix well with short wheelbase and tall tires. It is better to have a long wheelbase, and wide stance when you have a camper with center of gravity well above the top of the tires.

I don't think many wives will go into the new car showroom and actually climb into the cab and say "this is the new truck I want to drive to work" - I think they will say there is no way I am going to climb into that thing! The cab access looks really impractical.

My 3/4 ton game with a Dana 44 front end as well, but the fact that they put the over-sized tires on it compared to the Jeep Pickups that the front styling is coming form (J10-J30) and likely that it's the width of a jeep being vs being closer to the width of a standard pickup (Like the old J10-30s) will pretty much negate it's camper abilities.
