Anybody have any recommendations? Daughter moved there recently and we're planning a trip to visit, but can't seem to find any nearby RV camping areas. She's living on the north-northwest side, but we don't mind a reasonable drive back and forth.

There is one down off I-97 in Millersville---I am sure there are others. I think it is a KOA----might even check Southern PA.

We always stay at Ramblin Pines near Woodbine, MD which is about 20 minutes west of the beltway along I-70.

Can you be more specific what town or area is she in. I agree Morris Meadows sounds like the closets but more info would help.

Here is a link to a nice campground on the water
on the Northeast side of Baltimore.

I've stayed there, it is unique.

Lantley: North West Side, just off of I83 just south of the beltway. Any recommendations?

Ramblin Pines would be the closest, and the best west of Baltimore but it is somewhat pricey and no cable or sat tv.

Morris Meadows is your closest bet. It is off I 83 north of the Beltway. About 20 miles away. The other places mentioned are much farther away. Rambling Pines is 15 miles west of 695 on I-70 Bar Harbor is North of Baltimore off I-95.
I live in the area and have been to all of these places. Morris Meadows is closest and has the easiest commute.

Great recommendations, now I'll do some internet research about them, plot them on Google Earth, etc. and plan a trip. My daughter also mentioned the Baltimore State Fairgrounds. Any input on that location? We're just looking for basic camping and hookups, don't really need any typical RV resort amenities. Thanks for all the help! - Tony
