Hi,
I only have one fishing pole to worry about, and keep it in the compartment next to the fresh water tank. You might try separating the poles into a couple of different areas.

I store them in tubes, that I buy whenever I buy a fishing rod.

Make a stack of tubes, you might get free ones from a carpet store or plastic pipe then just slip the rod into the tube. The reels will still be on the rods maybe if you stack the rods from opposite sides of the storage. Put on a bungie to hold it into the tube.

How about a pvc pipe and putting one rod in each tube? I know I have mailed many custom built rods like that.

Mount something like this to the ceiling of a storage compartment, or use a spring loaded broom/mop holder.

I use these on my rods and they have saved me a lot of frustration

I cut some PVC and mounted 3 pipes in the roof of my forward hold.
They are for enough inside, I can insert rods. Butts of rods and reels stick out near the cargo door. You could do 6.
Using PVC, nothing gets mangled or tangled.

I would suggest instead using the majority opinion here and get PVC pipe to slide them in. the problem with this type of mount is that if you leave the reels on, they hang with a bow in them that can be permanent if left too long.
although I hate to use 2 or more piece rods, I do carry some in PVC "cases" in the motorhome.
