Last month the DW and I stayed at Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufala, AL. It is not too far from AU. Is a VERY nice park, too. The FHU sites were pretty full with long term residents.

Thanks all for your posts!! Sorry so long in answering, I had a tough go at work lately, a family wedding and have been a bit nuts here!!!
Looks like I have to do some checking on your ideas.

Thanks for the pics J!! That looks like a very nice park and is close to the school for our visit there. We enjoy the trails as well, and the site overlooking the water....pretty sweet!
