On my way from Mesquite, Nevada to southern Alberta this week, I stopped at the Flying J in Scipio, Utah for diesel. While filling up, a guy from the Goodyear tire depot was checking my 5er tires and said to me that the tread on one of my tires was separating. Tire was in perfect condition. Because I have white hair, I guess he figured I had dementia also. BEWARE OF THIS FUEL STOP/GOODYEAR DEPOT!!!! Goodyear should check this depot out as it reflects badly on their corporation image.
Reminds me of years ago when they pumped your gas and checked the oil. Say you need a new fan belt. They would run it inside and ask you stay out of the work area because of insurance rules. Later they would come out and show you a bad fan belt and tell you it was caught just in time before you were about to head across that Utah desert. But they never replaced the belt. Just showed you one they keep on hand just for this scam.
