We love our 2012 Coachmen Catalina 21QBH. Under 4k pounds, ample storage and the right amenities for our family. There are used ones our there for a steal.

Just your average family trying to unplug every now and then!
Thanks for the suggestions Nick! I have been keeping an eye out for those models, but haven't really found much.
Sbeach - Looks like a nice setup!
I'm going to go and take a look at that Trail Lite this afternoon. It's been really tough finding something decent for around the $3-$5k range. Maybe I'm out of the ballpark on finding something in that price range???
Took a look at the camper and it was in pretty good shape, but it didn't have a booth and bunks like I thought it would. So, it had the 3/4 bed in the back and "U" shaped booth/table/bed in the front. Just not enough room for us!
Now I know that I am on the right path looking for a bunkhouse with a bed in it!
Nick - Sounds like you took your time finding something or did you have a tough time? Just wondering if I'm being impatient or if it takes a while to find something at a decent price?
Check out Northtrail by Heartland. We just bought an FX235 with queen bed and triple bunks with no slide. The FX23 with double bunks, slide for the dinette and queen bed may be a better fit for you. Light weight and very sturdy. We love our Northtrail. I did a lot of research until we decided on ours. Good quality, good build and reasonable price.
