Headed to Coral Pink Sand Dunes for Easter. Looking at some Side x Side forums, it looks like there are a bunch of trails to explore...lots of fun to be had. I'm stoked!!
Has anyone been there that wants to share their favorite trail?

We've driven through there to check out the campground and visited the dunes from the decks. It's a beautiful place. Sure wish I could do that too. Can you get your toy hauler in there?

The sites are restricted to length. We backed the trailer in and disconnected. It was the off season. If I may plug a rescue group, be sure to visit Best Friends just South of there. They have RV spots and a learning experience in the world of animal rescue. They are good people and donations are accepted. We've been members for years and visited a couple times..

Hey Bad Brad we won't be making it out there this year but wish we could, have fun. We did head south out of the Dunes to the dinosaur tracks with our quads and that was a blast. It looks like there are all kinds of trails on the other side of the road south of the dune complex.

The trip to the dinosaur tracks is a must. They are really cool. I understand there are some petroglyphs to the south of the dunes somewhere. I will certainly work to find them this year. Additionally, I understand there is a trail that starts not too far from the dunes which goes to Carmel Junction. Round trip is about 38 miles. Sounds like a great day trip.
To answer the question about the trailer fitting in there...no problem. They have sites of various sizes...I've seen some pretty big 5r's do fine getting in there. For those who haven't visited, it is a great and very scenic place to drag the trailer and toys to.
Didn't do the trails when we were there but loved the place. Spaces are big and you will have no trouble.

We stayed at the free camp ground. I forgot the name. There was some kind of closed boyscout thing at the other campground that we didn't see until we were parked..
