Well my wife has put a lot of thought into designing the graphics that that she wanted on the spyder and I gave some input as well as a couple others. It was a struggle trying to decide what should stay and what should go, what exactly is the statement she was trying to make with it.

So many people impacted us and influenced us along the way, we just wanted to say how thankful we am to each and every one of you. We thought no better way to do this than being very loud and proud with it. So THANK YOU, to everyone.

So here is what we came up with.

Outstanding artwork, and a wonderful salute to the members of all the branches of our armed forces. They deserve no less. This old Sailor thanks you.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

Thank you. I have heard them referred to as WAAFs, WASP, WAFS, and WFTD. This is my wife's spyder and she wanted them on the back so she could say "her girls have her back". Too many times women are forgotten when it come to the military, so we didn't want that to be the case here. Plus our daughter is in the USAF, and we have a very special Aunt that is retired Army.

Sorry to rattle on so much.

I err'd when I referred to the women on the rear of your bike as WAAFs. They are not WAAFs, but instead the US women ferry pilots were referred to as WASPs. WASP stood for Wemon's Air Service Pilots.

The WAAFs were their British counterparts. The ladies on your bike are US wemon fliers. Their airplane is a B-17E. Judging by the markings on the B-17, the airplane is a war veteran that has been returned to the US as war weary. These war weary airplanes were relegated to training roles.

Somewhere I have that photo that is on the back of your bike. With it are the names, and hometowns of the four wemon in the photo. But, I can't seem to find it right now.

I am sure any veterans or active service military people will be quite pleased and honored whenever they see your ride. If not for our military, none of us would have the freedom we enjoy this day. Our nation will only remain free if we continue to have the strongest military in the world.
