Here in Pa ,there are no Mtn lions , just ask the game comission .
Yet about 3 years ago, I had A mtn lion walk right up to me .
I saw him first and stopped dead in my tracks .
It was great, he was about 60 lbs or so , not full grown .
I was face to face with him for at least A minute and A half, about 150 feet away .
He finally turned around and went down over the side of the mtn.
The game comission people told me I saw A bobcat .
I have seen all kinds of animals on my almost daily walks, Bear, deer turkey, grouse, coyote, possum, skunk , some really close.
I now know how people who have had such meetings feel about telling anyone about it when they meet something unusal .
I still walk the same route , still looking to see another one .
This guy is one tough hombre. Thank's to a bear he has survived a moutain lion attack with some minor bruising, apparantely survived a number of plane crashes and for the cherry on top a 60' fall. I would bet he has climbed Mt. Everest without a coat and wrestled crocodile's just out of boredom......people, gotta love them, that's what the good book tells me anyway.
