We will be traveling from Goose Lake SP in southeast Oregon to Alvord Hot Springs via Denio, Nevada and Fields, Oregon. Does anyone know the where the best place to get diesel might be and is the road to the hot springs dirt or paved?

I don't know about best place, but there is a filling station in Fields. People usually mention their shakes along with the high fuel prices. I assume they have diesel since some of the area ranch trucks must use it.
Between 205 and 78 Fields Denio road is good gravel.
Lakeview will have diesel. After that Denino is likely the last place for reliable diesel until Frenchglen or Burns. When are you going to be there? We are hosting at Goose Lake in July.
