Mixed emotions about arriving home 3 weeks early. Returned early due to warm winter in the upper midwest and the grass needing attention. Had it cut twice before arriving and have spent more time on the mower than in bed! Cold and wet here. Hot and humid in South Texas. I like hot better. Arrival at home was better than last year when we returned to find we had been robbed and damage to our house. I think it is time to decide where home really is. Getting too old to make the trip and hot is better than cold. But nearly 50 years at the same place is difficult to abandon.

I'm having second thoughts now after D/W ordered 12 cubic yards of Canadian Red for the flower/shrub beds and all new furntiture for the guest room which she declared yesterdy needs freshening up with a paint job. Breakfast this morning it was "I'm tired of the master bathroom and was looking at the new vanity units with the granite tops and double sinks".

I told her I was heading on back down to Florida if she keeps up this nonsense. The weather hasn't been good enough to get her out golfing to keep her mind off this stuff. Came back far too early!

Today is just the tomorrow you worried about yesterday!

Home is where I park it! Full-timer until I have no time. Too much upkeep to have both and I like Rving. Best of both world cause if I get sick of my front yard I will move it. Irover

And you don't have to spread mulch all over it!

Got home from Florida, mowed the grass, and went on a cruise. Life is GREAT! And, the tomatoes off my vines in Florida have ripened, and I'll have good tomatoes for a while.
