Ginger is a three year old female Samoyed. She goes in for surgery on Monday morning to repair a ruptured bullae on one of her lungs. She experienced a spontaneous pneumothorax last week and it hasen't gotten any better with treatments...so surgery looks like our best hope at this point.

Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers...and hope for a successful surgery.

I've only had one patient in 34 years that had the same condition. Had surgery at Purdue vet school and recovered completely, no further episodes. Hope the same for Ginger.
