Suburban, surrounded by tall evergreens on a small lot at the end of a cul de sac, 1/2 block out of the most populous county in the state.

Suburbs of a city of 300k. Developed neighborhood with HOA so no camping or storing on our lot. We used to live in urban area, 15 miles from downtown LA. Man I miss all the major league sports.

The town I live in has about 1000 people. No sidewalks, no traffic lights. Nearest Starbucks is 25 miles, nearest shopping mall is 1.5 hours. So small we are not on google maps. Completely surrounded by corporate and national forest. 5 minutes from our house we can canoe on a large lake (approx 5 sq miles surface area) and have the lake to ourselves, no one else in sight.

We pass over two trout streams on our daily work commute. My DW often says "Why do we travel all over the country to find places to camp and enjoy the outdoors when we live here?"

I do not have an answer to that. So we camp locally.

Rural. Just shy of three acres.
Negligible CCRs, NO HOA, so nobody to tell me I can't have antennas or park my RVs and vehicles.
We like it.

Rural All of closest neighbors are cows.
We are only 45 minutes from Yosemite and we do travel there, but not to camp. We use our 33' TH to haul our Suzuki Samurai to Nevada and the Eastern Sierra

My home is in a suburban area about 15 miles from Cincinnati, on a 1/4 acre lot in a "planned community". But my "mancave" is a 60x60 metal garage about 2 miles from home. 3 12'x12' garage doors, and heated. The "C" and toad are there, along with a full bath, kitchen, a few tools, and a full bar and backbar, with 45 RPM Juke Box, big screen TV with cable, and a popcorn machine. Currently shopping for a pinball machine. Obviously, I'm not married.

Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

We live a block away from the village and a block the other way from farmland and 20-25 minutes from the Provincial Capital in a standard plan house.

In a nutshell....

Village on a suburban lot in a rural area close to an urban area.

I think ??? just a little south east of Tothill.

Sure miss that small town.

In a subdivision, in a village of 3000, a 10 minute walk to the village centre. Village is on ocean inlet, and is mainly bordered by rolling farmland , but also by undeveloped forest containing bears, cougar etc. Village also borders a large & very popular tourist attraction, Butchart Gardens.
The village is about 20-25mins from a small city of 300,000, which is a provincial capital, tourist destination and naval base. The part we don't like is that we are on an island!

I don't believe in astrology. I am a Gemini and
we're very skeptical.
