We traded in our 2008 Wildcat 28RKBS on a 2013 Silverback 29RL this past Friday. The worst part was transferring all of our stuff to the new fifth wheel and then putting all of it away. It took us the better part of two days to get everything stored in the new Silverback. I LOVE the wider width entry door on the Silverback, I didn’t bump my arms or elbows once going in and out of the trailer.
There were no issues found during our PDI nor did we find any issues those first two nights we spent at an RV park near the dealership. I’m really impressed with the fit and finish of our new fifth wheel. The living space provided by the opposing slideouts is wonderful.
Towing the Silverback the 100 miles back to our house today was easy and our three-quarter ton truck handled the extra weight without a problem. I really couldn’t tell any difference in towing from our old shorter and lighter Wildcat.
Monday we are going to Carlyle Lake in Illinois for three nights for one more test. We were too tired to give the bedroom a “real” test during the weekend so that’s next.

We have a 2011 Silverback 29RL and we love it. The only real issue we have had is a squeak in the floor as you enter the bedroom. The dealer has worked on it and the factory has tried to fix it twice with no luck. Very minor problem and we have learned to ignore it. Good luck with your new creaker.

Holy Cow! We have that exact same squeak. Well I had the same squeak But got it fixed myself!!! It is where the Aluminum floor joist are touching where they are conected.I just looked into the storage dep. while my wife walked and found it. A good flathead screwdriver will take care of it. Maybe a tap with the hammer helped also! Congrats on the new Cedar Creek, Love ours.

Yes, Along with the open floor plan of the 29RL, those cathedral ceilings on the opposing slideouts really give the living area a more spacious look and feel.
