My grill has a spam filter

Just kidding though. I haven't had spam in a lot of years, but I loved it as a kid.

It's been around since 1937...returning from war...the soldiers referred to it "Ham that didn't pass it's physical!"

If you've ever been to Hawaii...I think eating Spam is a obsession! Hawaii even holds an annual version of Spam Jam in Waikiki during the last week of April! I think their schools close for the day and people literally "pork out!"

And Spamarama, is a yearly festival held around April Fool's Day in Austin, Texas. The theme of Spamarama is gentle parody of Spam complete with cook-offs!

They also make a Spam light and a turkey Spam. IIRC there are about 8 versions of Spam on the market.
