I had lots of tire kickers from Craigslist, but It was the color ad on a bulletin board at the local RV shop that sold it. The guys at the shop knew what was done and how it was maintained, so naturally they helped sell it for me.

Well my buddy sold his Toy Hauler on Craigs list. I guess it all depends on the market it's really slow right now on all recreational stuff.

I sold my Sundance on craigslist very easily. The key is to post lots of good quality pics and be very clear and detailed in what it has and it's condition. Don't use the small 4 pics option that craigslist provides. Put your pics on a photo hosting site, and link to them. There are a number of online descriptions on how to do this. Oh, and be sure you price it aggressively. I had mine sold in a week for close to my asking price. While the market has been slow, it's picking up and this is the best time to sell.
My buddy sold his trailer within a day on CL by doing the same thing. CL is probably the most widely read classified website, so I don't think you'd do any better elsewhere. Your mileage may vary.

Definitely keep the ad on Craigslist. I kinda disagree about the large pictures from the hosting sites. They take too long to load, and too long to view.
In the last week or so, Craigslist changed it's format so that it displays larger pictures. Make sure you also "renew" the ad every 3 days - if you have a Craigslist account, all you do is click the "renew" button and you're done. It is super simple - I don't know how complicated it is if you don't have an account, though.
Make sure your ad has a phone number AND the anonymous email link to increase the responses you get. Some people prefer to email, some prefer to call...
We buy and sell a ton of stuff on Craigslist, and usually sell it quickly. I just sold a stock trailer in a few days for $1800 that a local dealer wanted to give me $500 for in a trade. About 99% of our chicken/cow/horse/tractor/acreage "supplies" come from Craigslist. Craigslist rocks!

I've bought stuff (no RV's) on both Craigslist and Ebay. If you want cheap and fairly local, use craigslist. If you want nationwide coverage, use Ebay, but be prepared to pay for it.
My 2 cents.
