So, I plugged in my little 2008 X160 Fun Finder, after having brought it to the house today. Took a couple of minutes to let the surge protector reset. Microwave is working

12V things are “clicking” in rhythm – indicator light on fridge, Maxxair Fan, CO alarm, and no reading from the little gadget I bought that measuress 12v voltage when plugged into the cigarette lighter hole.

WTF? I put the multi meter to the BRAND NEW Group 27 battery, which I have kept on the BRAND NEW trickle charger and it was fine - 13V+.

H E L P or do I just take the little monster to the shop????

Thanks for your help!

PS: I didn't try the overhead lights. I'll go do that now.a

ON EDIT: No overhead lights. I have pulled the 2 x 30A fuses to make the clicking stop. Another thing that you might need to know - I had removed the new battery the day I had it installed and put it on a trickle charger in the garage. ? ? ?

Well, DUH on me - I had the battery plunger "off"...all seems to be working just fine now!!

But I know you would have come up with the right answer. I found it here by searching "12 volt not working"...

I love this Forum!
