Yesterday, I finaly climbed up on the roof and installed a couple of Maxxair vent covers. I don't know why I waited so long. It was such an easy thing to do....

I did noticed that they were about $2.50 a piece cheaper for me to buy at the store than what the price is online...I would think that they would be the same price either way.

When you placed the vents did you have to use self tapping screws or cut the rubber roof to make them fit snug?

They are mounted directly to the vent frame itself. Nothing is screwed into the roof.

You will love having the covers. It is the first thing we have done to each of the campers we have had for many reasons! Good for you!

I just wonder why they don't have them on them already when you buy them.

Because it's cheaper to let us buy them afterwards ;-)

Ask the dealer to install them as part of the deal.
