Recently purchased Prompt as I didn't want snaps. Pleased so far. And wow does it feel so much better inside that with the front curtains pulled.

nina_70 wrote: We've been very happy with our Magne Shade. Very durable and nicely made plus super-easy to install (just magnets..no snaps or drills).
Also excellent customer service -> we managed to lose 2 of the magnets and they immediately offered to replace them for free. I definitely recommend them.

Whatever you get, I would suggest a darker color. MY sunscreens now ( a dark brown) seem to do a better job than my previous ones which were a light beige color.
Also mine go on with snaps, seems to be OK, however when the sunscrrens are 1st applied they are a bear to stretch onto that last snap. sometimes I wait a bit until the sun warms up the screen to make it more stretchy. It sure looks good and tight once installed though.
However there has to be an easier way.
I also like having the side driver/passenger window screens.

I just received my Magna Shade, easy to put up and down and real nice fit. I haven't had a chance to see how much heat they keep out. They are pricey but seem like it's a quality product.

Another vote for Prompt Screen. Going on 12 years now. I called the factory, they sent me a new rubber strap and some new suction cups, no charge. Very quick set up/take down.

We're also happy with our Prompt Screen (and no, the advertising was just on the one for the video) and we've had them 6 years with no problem and use them all of the time as we are fulltimers.

We actually like RV Quick Shades. They are relatively inexpensive and are very easy to put up. They go on the inside of the windshield and the side windows. They are held up by suction cups. If you get the black, they not only keep out the sun's glare, but give you a lot of privacy. They are very quick and easy to put up and take down.

If you want complete protection from sun and are not concerned about the view out front you can use Reflectix which you can get from Home Depot or Lowes for about $25. The Reflectix® Double Bubble product consists of two outer layers of a highly reflective material that reflects 96% of the radiant energy that strikes it's surface. This material is bonded to a tough layer of polyethylene for strength. Two inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive heat flow while a center layer of polyethylene give Reflectix® high reliability and strength. We are currently in AZ and the sun beats on our front window all day, and it is about 15-20 degrees cooler up front since we put up our Reflectix. Cuts down on ac use. We cannot see the rv's accross the street, but who cares.

Another Prompt user/lover. Up and down in under three minutes, no permanent attachments to the coach and have never had them moved by winds. Mine is 7 years old and the only thing that has faded noticeably is the label.

Ok Guys and Gals, Please advise me how you are able to keep the Prompt Sunscreens on the windshields using suction cups. I do like mine, but have a major problem keeping the screen attached.
