We like having the King bed, I do not see much need to walk around the bed, the DW doesn't have any problem making the bed. She checked that out before the purchase as it's one of the items on her check off list.
On the "CC 2012 36RE King bed" its a larger than king slide with king bed AND side shelves on "BOTH sides"In slide?? plenty of room to walk around the bed on both sides and foot/end except when slide is "IN" (Then the foot end almost touch's the dresser)
However.. when the slide is "IN" and the bed is close to the dresser... It has pressure shocks/lifts and can be lifted one handed and stays up giving access to get to closet/washer/dryer etc "without opening slide" Mighty handy on packing day prior to a trip

We had narrowed our choices down to the Bighorn's, Dutchman Infinity and the Pinnacle's liking features of all.
The floorplan is very important in a decision and we were looking at the rear entertainment layouts which are all similar. In December we walked into a brand new model and it was all over...the only model we saw with a full walk in pantry...the Jayco Pinnacle 36KPTS...kitchen, pantry, triple slides. Click 'View' in our signature to see some pics.
Ordered in January and picked up mid-March and have already been out 3 times with a bunch more coming up.
With that the CC is also a very good choice...good luck and 'getter done'!!

BUT in about an hour I will head out to the dealer with our old 2008 Cedar Creek 36RLTS (Great Unit) and will be picking up our 2013 Cedar Creek 38FL.
Cant say enough about the CC it served us well, We looked at Alot of makes but stayed with Cedar Creek. We are heading out this friday with A few Friends for A shakedown run. So yes I would recommend A cedar Creek product.

The Jayco Pinnacle 36REQs has had a total of 14 warranty items repaired over the last 1 year. I am not sure if this is typical of a new unit now or not? The warranty is 2 years and Jayco has authorized every repair the dealer requested. It seems to me that a MSRP of 72k would include a better pre-delivery check.
We have had numerous problems with cracking in the wood cabinets and furniture from the dry heat/low humidity in Arizona. Don't know the answer to that is going to be in the future.

Not too relevant to the OP but in AZ were we spend the winter some folks leave their trailers stored there year round. They all put a couple of 5 gal. buckets of water in there trailers to keep the wood from cracking. They all said most of the water is gone when they get back the next fall. You might try that.
