Glad to hear no injuries to your family. Having the camper is a real good thing for a situation like this.

Usually with tornados the damage is not widespread in a metro area you could find a hotel to go to but the theives are then even more of a problem. This way you can be fairly comfortable and onsite to guard your stuff.

Don't forget to offer your neighbors emergency use of your facilities and a cold one, glad you went unscathed.

All, I just want to say thanks for all of the advice and information. As it turns out there are several families in my neighborhood with medical conditions that put them on the emergency list of people who take priority on the restoration of power in the even of an outage. Therefore, instead of the 7-10 hours, my power was restored sometime in the middle of the night. I sincerely appreciate all the advice and well wishes from you all. Our neighborhood is going to be recovering from this for quite some time, and many of my neighbors were far less fortunate than I was with regards to the damage done.
