We got 4.49% last August thru a dealer using a Credit Union. Probably could have gotten cheaper if we had set it up ourselves.

I just got 2.75% for 5 years from Warren Federal Credit Union. I refuse to obtain financing through a dealer as they make a cut on that as well.

Just signed this week on two, refinanced the house for 3% and knocked 8 years off the term, got 4% for 12yrs on the TT. It was such a proud feeling to see that rating come in just shy of 800 and locked us into what our credit union has as tier 1.

Just had the dealer set up ours in Feb on a new TT and got 4.75% for 10 on $17K for a new one, Wells Fargo had quoted me 14.99% when I called them 2 days before going to the dealer. We have since switched everything we can from Wells.

Local credit unions can be some of the best rates.
Wife works in one, typical right now is 72 month loans at around 4.5% assuming credit score of 750 or better...

I'm one of those individuals who think you should do everything possible to pay cash for your toys. The Dave Ramsey lifestyle can easily result in your having bigger and better toys with less stress.

That said, if you choose to finance don't pay more than you have to. I just checked my credit unions web page and the 12 year fixed RV rate is 4.75 for 12 year loans. 3.75 percent should you choose to go variable. If your credit is good you should be able to get a signature type loan for well under 9 percent, which would be worst case. If someone is trying to charge you more than that you're really getting taken to the cleaners.
