Has anyone ever used the sandwich maker where the woman on TV makes about a dozen different things. Like corn dogs. she pours cornmeal in the well and adds chopped hot dogs. Eggs with sausage and cheese. The machine closes and cooks. She has even cooked steaks on it but .......Hum
I hope you know the appliance I am talking about.

I bought it and used it for a couple of trips. Now it is on a shelf in the garage. It pretty much works as advertised.

I found a brand new one at a garage sale for $3..it's the older model without the removable inserts but does a pretty good job. I like to stuff boneless chicken thighs with bread dressing then roll in crushed dressing crumbs and cook. The omelets are pretty good and hubby likes the little cakes with the candy bar in the middle. My only problem is remembering to get it out to use since I don't keep it on the counter.

I also bought the very same gt express redi set go. I used it once and gave it to my son and his wife. A waste of money in my opinion.
These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter... I go somewhere to get something, and then wonder what I'm "here after."

My Dad bought one and really liked it until the nonstick surface starting come off after a short while after he got it.

I bought one, it worked, but I just didn't use it. Sold it at a garage sale. But it did work...

I learned to stay away from kitchen "specialty" items that cook just one or two things. Sandwiches. Waffles. frydaddy. breadmaker. They end up on the shelf and in yard sales and thrift shops. I try to stick with appliances that can be used many times a week and for different foods. Crock pot. Electric Kettle. Electric frying pan. Toaster Oven. Those along with the Weber Q120 and the microwave/convection oven pretty much covers any cooking need.

I feel pretty much the same way. Although I do use my breadmaker all the time and even bought a second one at a yard sale for a song. Actually both of them are running right now. Most speciality items are fun to use for the first couple months until the novelty wears off and then they end up taking up storage space in the house. If something really catches your eye wait a year and buy it at a rummage sale, then you can probably sell it the next year for what you paid for it!

I have one,and it is really great if there are only two of you camping. For the four of us, it took way too long for all of us to eat. The first two were done way before the second two were ready. (omelettes).

I bought one at a Goodwill AS Is store for well under a dollar and found it did not work well for Gluten free bread but I do use it to make Corn scones, A cup of GF biscuit mix, a cup of corn meal and a cup of creamed corn. It takes about five minutes to get them done. My husband loves them and I make them frequently when camping. I have two, one for at home and one for the trailer.
My biscuit mix is not like the GF Bisquick so I do not have to add oil, it is more like regular Bisquick.
I would never have bought one for the price that was asked new. Used dozens of times and has not lost its coating.
I use it while camping for lots of things that I want to make while using the small oven.
I ams sure there are more things I could make but both of mine came without directions.
I should have mentioned, I add an egg or two depending on how dry it is.
