My family got me a free standing tripod satilite dish along with 100' of coax. I throught trying to deal with 50amp power cord was tought.
Anyway I ended up with a small plastic bucket and coiled the cord into the bucket. I was wondering what other methods people have for the storage of coax, as I do not think this bucket will work may need a larger bucket.

I went to an electrical supply store and got a small drum to put the coax on.

Coax has a mind of it's own when it comes to bein coiled. I found a thin spool that works well for me. It is kind of like an old movie reel. I found it in a throw away bin at a home improvement store. Maybe someone else will have a clever idea. I liked your bucket idea to a point. Best of luck.

I have three 25' lengths of coax. I use one, two or all three if necessary and because they are short, easy to coil up one at a time and store.

I use one of the orange extension cord roll ups. Got it at Wal-Mart. Works very well.

My DW keeps giving me these clear "bags" that she gets when she buys her bed linens and comforters. There are nice because they are see-thru and come in different sizes. I use them for alot of storage needs, including coax.

You must camp in the woods way more than I do. Never need that much.

I use a CordPro for most cords I use, especially for two different dual 50' coaxs.

Coil mine up in a circle. Just like a extension cord. Give it a quarter turn as you coil it up.
