First trip out to try everything out. Got it all figured out but one thing. The hot water heater lights, stays lit (did turn from pilot to on, same as when I was growing up). Stove also working. But we have no hot water.
It is brand new and was winterized (we de-winterized ourselves, not mention of anything special on any forums here; also some pink did come out the hot water faucets, too, when we purged and sanitized).
Is there something about being new or some valve somewhere we're missing?
Hoping for a hot shower tonight or in the morning. Help appreciated.

Since it was winterized, I bet the hot water heater has been bypassed.
that means it is heating with no water in it right now possible.
Check your manual and see how to un bypass the hot water heater so it will fill.
You may have to close the bypass valve and open the valves to and from the heater

Thanks JiminDenver.
OK, was already re-reading manual again. There is a reference in a different section that says as a warning: fig. 16 Water heater by pass. It has a diagram but doens't show where these three valves are. Looked under sink, in and under hot water heater. Only other compartment we have is one outside that opens under the fridge, which is right next to city water hook up, but no valves, only fridge stuff there. Nothing under booth where water tank is, either. Nothing behind toilet.
Stumped where they've put it.

Take the above solution to the bank. Do that first.
If, if by chance it doesn't work, check the shower spray shutoff and make sure that it isn't turned off and the hot/cold valves turned on. Check the outside shower also.

Until you find it turn off the hot water heater.
the valves should be right on the lines going to the hot water heater and right near it.
Not in the compartment on the outside where you light it but behind that connecting to the tank itself

As said, your bypass should be located near water heater. Could be under a dinette booth, wardrobe or even in pass thru storage -(had a Heartland like that.). Post your make/model & someone will prob answer.

We have to take out the mattress and board to the bottom bunk to get to the hot water tank in our TT.

In side your rig directly opposite the water heater outside access.......back side of water heater should be an inlet valve (line going into bottom of water heater), an outlet valve (line coming out of top of water heater) and a bypass valve (on line connecting inlet & outlet lines).
Inlet valve....open it
Outlet valve....open it
Bypass valve.....close it
Valves should be close to on-board pump

Always fill the water heater and run water through it to make sure it is full before you turn on the propane heat or electric heat.

Jimin - I think that is the case. Once someone said behind the hot water heater, I realized it's probably under the bunk bed. Which my daughter is sleeping in right now! I did go out and shut off the hot water heater. Guess it will wait until morning.
I really appreciate the quick help everyone! Part of the adventure, we'll try it again tomorrow.
