Reservation Service opened at 7:00 am MST. Within 10 Minutes all 142 sites were booked for the summer.
BTW if you are heading into N Saskatchewan this summer there is a nice new Shell Service Centre on Hwy 11 at Hague SK. 40km 25 miles north of Saskatoon SK. 3 islands with diesel and a fast diesel pump off to the side. Islands are at an angle to the building. Lots of room to stop for some pizza or a sub.

Do you know if they have any sites that are first come first served, or is it 100% reserve in advance?
Don
The main "down town" sites are booked up fast but if you can get by, like me, then there are lots of other campgrounds that are available on a first come first serve basis. Those wishing for the finer things in life,ie: full hook-up will have to reserve ahead of time.

lol... We had ours (3 sites for a couple weeks in July) booked at 7:03..
saskparks desperately needs to learn a lesson from the the National parks.. Website was soo much smoother than the national parks. I'm pretty sure saskparks was throttling out of province IP's. As anyone I've talked to from Sk had no problem getting sites, yet most from alberta took 3-4 hours to get a site.
Problem with Sk camping in general, is they don't limit length of stays.
I much prefer the AB/BC way.. 90 days in advance of checkin date, and can only book 2 weeks at a time. Gives Everyone equal chances to get sites. But w/e..
Just looking forward to camping.. sigh... 6" of snow fell last night.
Well, if God would let me have a generator.....*grin*. Seriously I can go for a long time on just my battery bank and I prefer boondocking. (Yeah, I know, none of that in National Parks!)
