I also carry a spare serpentine belt. Murphy's Law says that it will break in the middle of nowhere where any mechanic can replace it, but there will be no parts store within a 1000 miles. Takes up no room to store.
That is a great idea to carry parts such as this.

Whatever you decide to cram in what little space you have will most likely still be there unused after several years. When we sold our last B, I couldn't believe how much stuff we had in it and how little of it (most) was never used. I do like to have a small 12 volt compressor with me and my basic tools and a set of jumper cables. Those are the three thinks that I was glad to have with me on several occasions.

If it is on the sprinter van a turbo resonator. I had a 2007 view on a sprinter and the forum could not stress enough to carry one of these. Going through Donner pass in CA mine went out on a Sunday. Sure was glad i followed their advice.

There are many good packing lists on the internet, we developed our own starting from there. In 6 seasons of RVing all over the US and Canada in a PW Excel, we have never had a breakdown (knock on wood!). We did have to replace a tire and got a tank of bad gas that made the check engine light come on and I called Ford about it. It went out after that tank was used up. That said, we do carry motor oil, a can of fix a flat, 120v and 12v compressors, basic tools, fuses, duct tape, wire, etc. I recommend you carry roadside assistance just for the peace of mind. With a Class B, our rule of thumb is to keep it simple, we want to enjoy our travels and not spend a lot of time messing with the RV. IMHO, you made a good decision buying your Roadtrek and will have a great time with it. Good luck in your travels.

I learned the hard way to carry a small sturdy plywood square - mine's about 1" X 14" X 12" - to put under the jack if a tire needs changing. Anywhere off the pavement, most ground surfaces will not support the weight of the jack lifting a Roadtrek axle.

We also carry a couple of boards for that purpose but the fact of the matter is I will call roadside assistance if I get a flat.

Those boards are also handy if you're using the plastic leveling blocks on soft ground. They'll keep the lowest block from sinking in and packing full of dirt.

Amen to that!
Plus a spare hidden key planted somewhere accessible (from the exterior, of course!)
